In this part we consider a graph as a social network, were nodes are people, or social entities in general, and the edges represent social interactions –such as a follow in Twitter or a handshake.

In this scenario we can interpret structures in the graph as telling something about the social aspects of the world: finding who’s an influential person or determining who’s patient zero in a zombie apocalypse.
